“Quake Mosaic” Kristina Young

In 2025, I contributed to the “Quake Mosaic,” a monumental 10' × 40' mosaic mural by artist Kristina Young, installed on a retired 1950s cargo train car through the Napa Railroad Art District. Working alongside Kristina, RAD and engineering firm Point 2 Structural Engineers, I installed the supporting framework that secures the mosaic to the railcar. The mosaic—a vibrant, community-built artwork created from broken dishes, tiles, and glass collected over more than a decade—was unveiled on August 24 to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the 2014 South Napa earthquake.

UC Davis Art Science Fusion Mosaic

I partnered with the UC Davis Art Science Fusion Program, led by Professor Emily Meineke, to fabricate four custom steel frames designed to house large-scale mosaic murals depicting California’s ecological zones and native plants. I also provided technical support during the physical installation of the first completed mural, with the remaining three scheduled for installation in future years.

"La Course Camarquaise" Jos Sances

I collaborated with artist Jos Sances, the City of Orinda, and the project contractor to install La Course Camarquaise at the Orinda Community Center. I fabricated the metal framework that secures the mural to the wall, assisted with tile setting and the physical installation process.

Picasso's Guernica” Katie Frank

I assisted lead artist and professor Katie Frank with the installation of a large-scale ceramic mural at Ohlone Community College, composed of 125 handmade student tiles recreating Picasso’s Guernica. Working in collaboration with engineers, Katie, and contractors, I helped install the tile system on the wall.
